A GLIMPSE INTO MY WORLD
The Philosophy Behind the Photo
Carpe Diem.
For me, photography begins with a simple belief: the moments that shape our lives are often the ones that pass in an instant.
It may be a laugh that escapes before a thought can form, or the quiet glance between two people who have grown fond of one another. Regardless of the act, time moves forward, carrying everything with it.
Photography is my way of helping small moments endure against the progression of time, protecting what might otherwise be forgotten.
When I capture an image, I do so with the intent of preserving evidence that a moment existed and ensuring the attached feelings live on.
More than anything, I want the people I photograph to be able to return to these images years from now and feel something. To remember not just what they looked like, but who they were. What they loved. What they felt. What it meant to be there.
Because time will keep moving forward.
But every moment deserves a future.
And that’s why I photograph them.
